Hello
If you’ve made it to this page then chances are you’ve arrived here through Twitter. So a quick introduction is appropriate.
My name is Phil Prior and I am the Head of Marketing for Wycliffe Bible Translators (WBT) in the UK. WBT exists in a number of countries around the world with the aim of translating the Bible into all languages on earth that need it. As of this moment, that’s about 2,393 language groups, spoken by around 200 million people who don’t have a copy of the Bible in their own language.
Outside of Wycliffe and the church I’m a dedicated sports fan (doesn’t really matter what sport although, I have little interest in glof and horse racing). I love travelling and find politics facinating.
This is my personal website. While you are here why not take a look at my blog.
My Twitter Rules
Twitter is an amazing way for linking people together. I push out little snippets from all areas of my life, both professional and personal, and you can pick up on what ever you are interested in.
I will follow most individuals who appear to be using twitter for conversations. I’m less interested in people who are ‘selling’ or pushing a particular idea.
Free speech is encouraged, I’m not going to censor anything that falls within the law of the land. However, I’d always appreciate it if you could keep extreme foul language to a minimum. Feel free to share genuine ideas, but be open to genuine responses.
I think that’s it. Of course, I’m human, so I’m also quite at liberty to change my mind or contradict myslef at any point.
Happy Twittering.
