Part of a shared experience
I know Paul in as much as I read his rather excellent blog, we both work for organisations that long to see people get the Bible in a language that really speaks to their heart, and occasionally we’ve sent each other e-mails, Facebook messages or DM through Twitter. I think I can call him a ‘friend’, but to be honest it would be nice to meet the guy in person one day, then I’ll feel I can drop the ‘ ‘.
Anyway, he recently wrote a rather good post about what he’s learnt from his children.
The last paragraph partly rings true to me too…

I only partly share his experience. I’ve learnt that getting married has expanded my capacity to love. Maybe one day I’ll find the same thing with children – not that I’m in a rush!
