The wrong time to leave
I’m in no doubt that my impending Africa trip is going to be a fantastic experience, but I’m a little disappointed to be going away right now.
For the last few months we’ve been working really hard at updating the look and content of the Wycliffe Bible Translators material you’re most likely to come into contact with. This means that on the way is a new website, a new introduction leaflet and some new display stands for events. We’ve also dome some work at freshening up the look of the newsletter material, so the next Call to Prayer will look a little different.
My colleagues, especially Ruth and Paul, have been working really hard at making sure the new website is working well and makes sense to visitors. The printed material is with the designers, Yeomans… in other words we are making great progress. So much so it’s all going to be live by the end of the month.
It’s just I’m going to be away. By the time I get back the website will have been live for a week or two, the leaflets, stands, etc, will all have made their first appearance at Kingdom Come, so I’ll have missed it.
On the positive side, I’m watching the snow fall right now, where as tonight I’ll be basking in 30C temperatures.
