Journeyman

Just having managed to get through two portions of Lasange for lunch, back in the office we’ve started receiving Christmas gifts. Now I remember the days of being sent a box of Cadbury’s Roses by companies I’ve given business to, but Halcyon have outdone all others by sending Christmas Cake! I’ve never had Christmas cake before and I’m rather happy about this.

It will be shared amongst all Wycliffe staff at coffee break today… and possibly tomorrow, depending on how hungry people are today, and we will all be very thankful.

Does this influence my future print buying? Not a chance, you want me to work with you, give me excellent customer service, deliver on time and talk to me regularly – all for the agreed price – and I’ll stay loyal. Give me Christmas presents and I’ll be very thankful, I’ll remember who you are and I’ll  even mention your name a couple of times in a blog post, but it’s not a deal clincher.
