Monday update
I don’t know about you but I’ve had a nice break. It was only one week away, but with the busyness of the week before I just didn’t have time to blog. My head is full of stuff, but it’s going to take time and effort to write and I just don’t have that at the moment, so for now you just have to put up with some holiday snaps.
Below are some pictures of the rather impressive International Terminal at St Pancras station. It’s where the trains from France and Belgium now stop. The station is so much better than I remember it to be.
Then there’s a picture from the British Library, where I stumbled on an exhibition which included the Codex Sinaiticus, the oldest complete copy of the New Testament in Greek. I couldn’t read a word but it was pretty impressive all the same.
Then it was on to Spitalfields. Well worth a wander if you ever have the time. The church there serves the banking community in London, so they have a Tuesday lunchtime service as well as Sunday.
Finally a picture from the South Downs.
Enjoy
