Well, the weekend was fun. After a Friday evening out with friends in Thame, Saturday was full of exercise and adventure. Tany and I played squash in the morning, followed by a quick bite to eat in town and my picking up the last bit of her birthday present, before heading back to the Wycliffe Centre for a game of football against a Korean church.
All that activity played havoc with my back. Despite all the stretching, I was sore and not moving as well as I should have been, so Tany ran me an ice bath to sit in for 10 minutes. You know the annoying thing, it seemed to work. I was still a bit stiff on Sunday, but today most of the pain has gone.
I guess I now have to face up to the fact that after exercise, sitting in some very cold water for 10 minutes is going to help.
It’s a shame that eating a large piece of chocolate cake doesn’t help, isn’t it!
Yep. Don’t start me dreaming.
