…has been manic.

Not really in a bad way, although, I think I have reached capacity and could do without anything new and interesting happening over the next week or so just to give me time to work through what’s already taking place.

I am in the middle of preparing for preaching on Sunday at Manor Park Evangelical Church in Worcester. I started by looking at the story of the Good Samaritan, but it has lead me into considering wider issues relating to love and relationships, especially the love of Christ.

During the day I’ve been trying to edit our new website. But thanks to 1001 different things I’ve not been able to devote the week to it that I had originally intended. I’m now faced with a huge amount to do on Friday.

I’m also starting to consider the road ahead. What do the next couple of years look like and what does God want me to do. I think the UK is the right place for me, which is strange in an organisation like Wycliffe, but if I am meant to be here, what part should I be playing in the church? Questions that I should be making time to think through.

Right now I must dash. There’s another job waiting that I can’t put off any longer.
