I cannot remember a time when it snowed before Christmas. Maybe when I was a kid, but living on the South Coast we hardly ever had snow.
Last night’s flurry was expected. A few inches covering the South East of England and a few other places. Of course, it’s the biggest thing on the news, regardless of what’s happening in Copenhagen over climate change, as the country grinds to a halt, not able to cope under the powdery stuff. This morning, waking up listening to the news, there were three accidents on the stretch of motorway right next to where we live. I guess we just aren’t trained to drive in snow.
Anyway, living just a few metres from where I work there was no excuse, so I got up and went to take photographs. Enjoy the wintery images. I think we’re due a bit more tonight so this could last a few days.
