Bible Fresh

BIBLEFRESH EFLYERResearch seems to indicate that if you read your Bible outside of a church service then you’re a pretty rare breed. Only one in seven of us sat in church on a Sunday bother to read the Bible during the week.

2011 is the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible and Bible Fresh is celebrating this by bringing together over 40 agencies, festivals, colleges and denominations to spend the year focussing on the Bible. Bible reading is a major element of Bible Fresh, but so is education and training, Bible translation (which is where Wycliffe fits in) and experience.

If you want to know more it would be a good idea to head along to one of the launch events taking place around the country. More information can be obtained from the attached Bible Fresh flyer.

  1. We got a hold of “Bible Fresh” through NT Wright. Our church is getting on board. It’s wonderful. I’m even getting the ladies at a women’s homeless shelter involved, and as alway, the Word is healing and transforming. I think it’s one of the best most unifying ides in a long time. Hey, and this is Texas!
