I should write something

Tany bought me jazz for valentine’s day. Simply Late Night Jazz and The Essence of Charlie Parker – I have a wonderful fiancee.

There are a few things that I’m always going to find it hard to give up. Music I find essential to life. When I moved to Wycliffe I knew that I was going to have to give up buying albums on a whim, at least for a while, so I suggested that Tany could keep me happy by buying random stuff from second hand record shops. As long as it’s not 70′s disco hits I’d probably at least find it interesting. The CDs I got this weekend were perfect and I’m going to be a very chilled and happy man this week.

My mood can change simply by listening to a different piece of music. When I need to relax and think things through Jazz is perfect.

The flat’s looking good too. A lot of the boxes have now gone and a CD rack purchased from Ikea at the weekend has freed up some shelf space. A second one, which is going to hold some DVD’s, has to go back because it’s got a chip, but when that’s up we’re going to be in good shape.

Anyway, I felt that I needed to update you all on my weekend. I don’t know why, I guess it’s what bloggers do from time to time.

If you want the instant updates check out, twitter.com/phil77. My mobile updates are broken at the moment, not sure why, but as soon as they’re fixed updates will be much more frequent.

This week I’m going to be taking part in Window on Wycliffe. More info as the week progresses.
