Before you think that I found going to church this morning a real waste of time, I should tell you about the baptism service.
In the morning service four young people got baptised. By young I reckon that the oldest was maybe 19, the youngest 16… possibly. Now bearing in mind their ages I found the stories really interesting… that’s the wrong word, I mean challenging.
Bearing in mind their ages, two of them had come from ‘broken’ homes, where parents had divorced, one had lost both parents before the age of 14 and the other had left Zimbabwe due to the political system.
It was wonderful to hear their unique testimonies. Also really good to hear how real and powerful Jesus is to them.
