Erwin McManus at Mosaic has been preaching through a series on billboards called Intersections. People sent pictures of billboards that they saw around LA and these have provoked themes in the messages. It’s good… worth listening to here.

My question is, if you were presented with a blank billboard, what one message would you want to give?

My billboard would simply qoute Romans 5:8
How about “Jesus is here, don’t worry about the Christians”?

Mork’s idea of church is different
but may hold short term appeal. I wonder if this will be the traditional message of burgers and doughnuts or the new message of salad and coffee?
I guess advertising really depends on the location. What you say in Australia, the UK or America really depends on the culture. Hmm, longish response to this, I feel a new post coming on.
